(September 28th - 2012)

The fifth game of the season . . .

was O'Dea's Homecoming game against Ingraham.

The boys played a great game . . .

they threw the ball . . . they ran the ball . . .

and the defense did a great job!!!

All of the boys played well and had a ton of fun!! 

This game was all about the O'Dea brotherhood . . .

giving time on the field for many of the young players.

At O'Dea . . .

it is all about faith . . . family . . . tradition . . . brotherhood . . .

 

and oh yes . . .

FOOTBALL!!

O'Dea vs Seattle Prep . . .

O'Dea 47 - Seattle Prep 7

(September 21st - 2012)

The fourth game of the season was against O'Dea's rival Seattle Prep . . .
a team that O'Dea hasn't lost to in 30 plus years . . .

In Rivalry games it is usually about one thing . . .
wanting to win the game . . . and wanting to win it BIG!!

This game was all about classic O'Dea Football . . .
 toughness . . . dedication . . . and running the ball . . .
and - run they did!!!

 
The Fighting Irish came back from last week's loss . . .
they fought hard . . . they played hard . . . and they got the job done!

It was great to see the young players
getting some experience on the field as well!

O'Dea vs Issaquah . . .

O'Dea 30 - Issaquah 33

(September 14th - 2012)

The third game of the season . . . started out with expectations high . . .
playing a team we hadn't played since 1955!

 
Yes - there were some great plays . . . from a great interception . . .

to some great runs . . . to their final touchdown catch . . .

but . . . there were also a few lessons to be learned!

I am quite sure that in one week . . .

this young team will come back fighting harder than ever . . .

because - that is why they call them the Fighting Irish!!!

Focus on the good plays . . . and work hard on the rest!!

See you next week for your big game against Prep!!!
